Two drawers on the same side suit a bed against a wall. Two footend drawers suit rooms with space at the foot of the bed. Four drawers (two each side) give the most storage and need clear floor on both sides. Footend and four-drawer options start at 4' small double.

Yes — 2'6 and 3' divans can take two drawers on the same side. Four drawers and footend drawers are available from 4' small double upwards.
