Which lift direction should I choose?
Choose end lift if there is clear floor at the foot of the bed — it is the most common layout. Choose side lift if the bed sits against a wall lengthways or the foot end is close to furniture.
How much can an ottoman store?
The storage well runs almost the full footprint of the bed, so it holds far more than drawers — typically spare duvets, pillows, seasonal clothes and luggage.

Is an ottoman bed hard to lift?
No. Twin gas struts carry most of the weight of the mattress, so the base opens with a light, controlled lift and stays open while you reach in.
How long does delivery take?
